TYN Volunteer's First Activity of 2013- 22 June 2013

TYN Volunteers first activity of 2013 was held on the 22 June at SilverACE@Redhill.

A total of 12 volunteers, including 4 committee members were present.  A few of the volunteers were first-timers and did not know what to expect. There were a  total of 47 elderly who turned up for the event despite the hazy condition.

We played Bingo with them and also interacted with them during lunch. We also had the opportunity to deliver some Soya Beancurd to the elderly at their home, kindly sponsored by one of the volunteers.

This was one Saturday well-spent with the elderly. Volunteers feedback that they enjoyed their time with the elderly and they would come back and volunteer again if they had the time.
